Proper Prep.
Premium Results.
Most painting failures come from skipping prep. We don't skip prep. Every surface is cleaned, scraped, sanded, caulked, and primed before a drop of paint goes on. That's why our exterior paint jobs last 8–12 years, not 2–3.
We are a small, local company — our painters are our employees, not subcontractors. You deal directly with us, and we take pride in every job because our name is on it. We use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore because we believe in the products we put on your home.

How We Work
Our Process
Every painting project follows the same disciplined process — because shortcuts in prep mean a paint job that fails in 3 years instead of lasting 10.
Free Estimate & Color Consultation
We visit your property, assess the scope of work, discuss your color goals, and provide a detailed written estimate. No pressure, no surprises.
Surface Preparation
The most important step — and the one most painters skip. We scrape loose paint, sand rough areas, fill cracks and holes, caulk gaps, and prime bare wood. Proper prep is what separates a 10-year paint job from a 3-year one.
Priming
Bare wood, repaired areas, and stain-prone surfaces get primed before topcoats. Priming ensures proper adhesion and prevents bleed-through — critical for long-lasting results.
Painting
Two full coats of premium paint applied by brush, roller, or sprayer depending on the surface. We maintain wet edges, back-roll sprayed surfaces, and check coverage before moving on.
Final Walkthrough & Cleanup
We walk the job with you before we leave. Any touch-ups are handled on the spot. We remove all masking, clean up completely, and leave your property cleaner than we found it.

Common Questions
FAQ
How long does exterior painting last in Oregon?
With proper prep and premium paint, exterior painting in Oregon typically lasts 8–12 years. The key factors are surface preparation, primer application, paint quality, and the number of coats. Painters who skip prep or use cheap paint often see failure in 3–5 years.
What time of year is best for exterior painting in Oregon?
Late spring through early fall (May–September) is ideal — temperatures above 50°F and low humidity allow paint to cure properly. We can paint in cooler conditions with the right products, but we won't paint in rain or when temperatures are below 35°F.
Do I need to be home during the painting project?
For exterior painting, you don't need to be home — we just need access to the property. For interior painting, we prefer someone to be available at the start and end of each day, but it's not required for the full duration.
How do I choose exterior paint colors?
We include a color consultation with every estimate. We can provide color samples, discuss what works well with your home's architecture and neighborhood, and help you visualize options. We recommend ordering sample pots and testing colors on the actual surface before committing.
Do you paint new construction or just repaints?
Both. We handle new construction painting (bare wood, drywall, and new siding) as well as repaints of existing homes. New construction requires different prep and priming approaches, which we're experienced with.
Are your painters employees or subcontractors?
Our painting crews are experienced professionals we work with consistently. All work is performed under our Oregon CCB license (# 252438) and our insurance coverage — so you're protected regardless of who's on the crew.
